The exhibitioncreators open the first Body Worlds exhibition in Brno. UHHHH - yes we should open it ----- and "ready built" it is as well. Unfortunately, COVID 19 has also struck here.

After the infected numbers in our neighboring country virtually explode, the country decrees a strict shut down. This is the third exhibition that currently had to be left to the dust of the hall.

The exhibitioncreators are going into quarantine! BUT not because they tested positive for Covid 19, but because they are in Canada to dismantle the animal exhibit that has been at the Sparks Science Center in Calgary for almost a year now. As in many other countries, we have to isolate for 14 days before it finally starts. 

After that we will go directly to Portland and Houston to organize the upcoming move of the exhibition from OMSI to HMNS. Parallel to this, the exhibitions in Lübeck and Kassel will be dismantled.

The exhibitioncreators open a very special exhibition in Gunther von Hagen's hometown of Greiz in the Vogtland region.

Within 2 weeks, the Greiz ice rink was converted and shows on 1,800m ² pure exhibition space known but also, and that makes this exhibition so special, never before shown works of his work.

Within 2.5 weeks, the exhibitioncreators have launched a new exhibition that is to be held at the Kulturwerft Gollan in Lübeck for a short time.

CORONA shuts down the country and much of the world. 

But we do not resign ourselves, we look purposefully forward....STAY HEALTHY!!!

After Tallin and Ulm, the exhibitioncreators travel to Kassel, Portland and Cleveland and open three more Body World exhibitions. We leave Cleveland on the last Lufthansa plane before the lockdown.

The Documenta Hall in Kassel was transformed into a Body Worlds exhibition.

Calgary

We received a somewhat unusual order during the dismantling of the animal exhibition in Winnipeg / Canada. We were asked to create a first draft for an exhibition in the foyer of the quite new TELUS Spark in Calgary. Not that we didn't already know this science center, but to install an exhibition in the daylight-flooded 1300m² foyer of the building with ceiling heights of over 30m, which basically requires a closed room and 100% darkened rooms, was at first suspicious to us. In the end, it became an exhibition space that offers both open and closed areas within the curation and at the same time allows all access routes to the other galleries of the Science Center.

For the first time for the American market, the exhibitioncreators also took on the creation of a safety concept here, including testing and documentation of all the systems and equipment necessary for the operation of the exhibition.

Abu Dhabi

As the first exhibition of its kind, BODYWOLRDS RX opened its doors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in early September 2019 under the eyes of the Emir. Our local partner the Khalifa University blocked and provided two brand new lecture halls especially for this purpose. It was a setup of a very special kind.

For the third time we are at the Science Center of Minnesota with a Bodyworlds exhibition. Always nice to see old friends.

Vienna

Not that we haven't been to Vienna before, but Vienna is known to be always worth a trip and exhibition. This time in the Wiener Stadthalle we present under the motto LIFE MEANS UNDERSTANDING and the local partner COFO a new edition of the Bodyworlds A Matter of the Heart exhibition.

The exhibitioncreators are back in Ulm, but also in Freiburg.

After a phenomenal success of the Human Exhibition in Ulm, we have moved it to Freiburg in Hall 3 of the Neue Messe Freiburg.

The exhibitioncreators are back in Canada. After the successful opening of the exhibition in Sudbury, this time we are in Winnipeg.

Together with the Manitoba Museum, we placed Animal Inside Out in their new exhibit hall.

Despite these adverse conditions, a new BodyWorlds RX exhibit is being created in collaboration with Science Center North in less than 6 days.
